Mr Griffiths was invited to attend the event by Steny Hoyer, leader of the majority Democrat party in the House of Representatives. The two met when Mr Griffiths was Deputy Leader of the House of Commons. He was due to fly to Washington today."
Lucky him, but surely Scotland has people better qualified to be at President Obama's inauguration?
